Self Catheterization Pants Holder “Betty Hook”
The “Betty Hook” is a Self Catheterization Aid, invented by a now retired Craig Hospital Rehab Nurse, that hold pants and underwear out of the way while self cathing. Works great for both men and women. Easily attaches to the pants and hooks under the wheelchair seat or cushion. Eliminates the need for patient transfer when doing intermittent catheterization and helps to keep clothes Clean and Dry.
The long, flat end of the Plexiglas clip can be positioned or secured under the wheelchair or seat cushion, while the hook end attaches to pants waistband. The clear shatterproof Lexan plastic allows full visibility while performing Intermittent Self Catheterization.
Here’s what Betty says,
1) Place small hook over waistband of pants and pull down.
2) Hook and secure long , flat end under wheelchair or seat cushion.
Washable and reusable.
